Prompt Writing and Workflow Design

From requests everyone writes their own way to shared, reusable templates, with a clear method for improving and judging the result.

Required level
Some prior use of at least one chat tool.
Possible formats
3 hours · 6 sessions × 150 min · 2 days · 12–14 hours
Modules
4
What participants leave with
A shared template library for the team, with an evaluation standard and an owner for each template.
What you'll learn
  • Turn repeated tasks into request templates with clear variables.
  • Use examples, constraints and fixed formats to cut down rework.
  • Run an iteration loop: draft, feedback, better version, then a written acceptance standard.
  • Design a multi-step workflow with human review in the right place.
Who it's for

Teams using chat tools daily who want consistent quality rather than depending on one person's knack.

Module sequence

  1. 1
    Anatomy of a good request

Output: Rewriting three of the team's own requests and comparing results.

  2. 2
    Examples, constraints and format

Output: A template for each output type: email, summary, table, marketing copy.

  3. 3
    Iteration and evaluation

Output: A simple scorecard the team agrees on for each template.

  4. 4
    From template to workflow

Output: A workflow map for a real task, with review points and owners.

Practical exercise

The team picks one weekly task, builds its template and acceptance standard, and tests it on three real cases.

How we tailor it

We start with a short call and questions about the team's level and tasks, ask for real material from your work, then send a written proposal with duration, format and fee.
