Brand positioning builder
Turn your answers about who you serve and what makes you different into a written positioning document, plus a voice brief to paste into any AI tool before it writes for you.
Private by design Your answers are processed in your browser only. They are not sent to an AI model, not stored, and never put into a link.
What the tool does
Most small teams have never written down what makes them different. It lives in the founder’s head, so the content sounds like every competitor, and even more so when it is written with AI tools, which fill any gap with the most common phrases. The builder asks five sets of questions: who you serve and who you don’t, the problem and what people use today instead, what you do differently with proof for each point, what you believe that others in your category don’t, and your voice and words.
You get one printable document: the positioning statement, the value proposition in a sentence, three message pillars each with its proof, your point of view, a voice guide and who you are not for. Under it, plain rules flag the weak spots: an audience of “everyone”, a strength nobody can verify, a difference that is only price or words like “quality” and “professional”, or beliefs every competitor would also say. You also get a brand voice brief to paste into any AI tool before you ask it to write anything.
Who it's for
- Small business owners who write their own content, with or without AI
- Marketing teams that want one reference for everyone who writes for the brand
- Agencies and freelancers onboarding a new client
- Founders preparing to launch or relaunch a brand
How to use it
- Answer five short steps. Optional fields can stay empty.
- Read the document, then the weak spots, and edit until every strength has proof behind it.
- Copy the voice brief and paste it into your AI tool before any writing request.
- Print it or save it as a PDF and share it with everyone who writes or designs for the brand.
Privacy
The tool is structured logic running in your page: rules, questions and decision tables I wrote myself, not an AI model. Nothing you type leaves your device; the only thing recorded is that the tool was used, with no content.
The builder organises what you type; it doesn’t know your market or your competitors. The rules catch generic wording and unproven claims, but they can’t tell whether what you say is true. Good positioning is tested with customers, not on paper.
