What the tool does
Most automation projects stumble because nobody wrote down the real steps before choosing a tool. This tool helps you write the workflow step by step: what happens, who does it and with which tool, then classify each step as one of four types.
Once mapped, you see the workflow as a vertical sequence of numbered steps, with a summary that counts steps by type, the hand-offs between people and the approval points, identifies the longest run of manual work and approvals, and offers practical observations such as merging two approvals or automating consecutive steps as one block.

How to use it
- Name the workflow and write the steps in order, as they happen today. Reorder them with the Up and Down buttons.
- Add who does each step and the tool used, even roughly: hand-offs are worked out from the owners' names.
- Classify each step, or press "Suggest a type", answer two questions, then accept or change the suggestion.
- Press "Map the workflow", read the summary and observations, then copy or print the result.
Privacy
The tool is structured logic running in your page: rules, questions and decision tables I wrote myself, not an AI model. Nothing you type leaves your device; the only thing recorded is that the tool was used, with no content.
The tool does not know your work; it reads what you write. The classifications and observations come from simple rules and do not measure how long each step really takes. What you type stays on the page and disappears when you close it, so copy the result if you want to keep it.
